    Martin’s exceptional oratory was broadcast for years on Gold FM - aired throughout regional Australia. Martin summarised the current affairs of the week by translating them into a humorous poetry form making the news far more digestible!

  • Fellowship of Australian Writers.

    Martin was awarded a Highly Commended in the 2018 Literary Awards for the poem ‘Nice is really Nice’. An amusing poem about a cheese loving cat who finds himself in the south of France.

  • DMag for Kids.

    Weekly autobiographical stories from Martin’s childhood chronicling his unique experience growing up with a menagerie of exotic animals. Martin wrote for DMag for kids for many years sharing stories of alligators, foxes, owls, Egyptian cobras and more!

  • CopyCat.

    In the 1990s, Martin created ‘CopyCat or How to Cheat and Learn to Draw’. Manufactured by Crown and Andrews the hit product sold more than 15,000 items.

  • Laugh and Learn Poetry Book Collection.

    In 2008, the Laugh and Learn humorous poetry collection was published. The collection set includes five poetry and picture storybooks selling more than 50,000 copies in Australia alone.
